Letters: Congress, fix deadly, idiotic Medicare

Sen. Bennet, Sen. Gardner and Rep. Tipton: Let’s fix Medicare.

We’ve paid thousands of dollars into it and it pays almost nothing out.

Its customer service is abominable, and quite frankly, a person with Type 1 diabetes cannot live without either full-coverage insurance or with dramatic improvements in its coverage options that are immediately available and not outsourced to India.

I’m being asked to pay $175 a bottle on a $3 prescription with idiot Medicare, and Medicaid does not help.

People should be able to opt off the program and enroll without penalty into the ACA, which is a lot easier for pharmacies to bill and doctors to use.

Tonight, I’m worried about dying without insulin.
