Letters: Congress should be voting anonymously

Please, all U.S. members of the House and Senate, vote anonymously in future cases of impeachment.

If impeachment verdicts were submitted by simply marking a Yes or No, without identifying your name or party affiliation, the president, constituents, newscasters and anyone else would not be able to make a judgment call on you.

Perhaps other important issues could be voted anonymously.

Trump would not be able to continue his typical nasty name-calling in tweets if he could not figure out who voted against him.

In my opinion, this simple idea would benefit our country.
