Letters: Don’t forget about abortion amid COVID

In these confused times, I often wonder at the discrepancies in human behavior.

One of these discrepancies exists in the things we place importance on. For instance, this country is giving a good deal of thought to COVID-19.

This virus is indeed sinister, and all the more frightening for being unknown. Something over 20,000 deaths have occurred worldwide due to COVID-19. According to the CDC, many of these were the vulnerable: elderly and/or people with underlying medical conditions.

Now this virus makes us all feel vulnerable. As a result, it has caused widespread fear and panic.

This fear replaces thoughts of many other things. For example, since 1973, over 61,000,000 innocent babies have lost their lives to legalized abortion. Have you ever thought about how vulnerable they are?

We fear for our lives because of coronavirus, but what about the lives of the innocent? Do we fear for those?

What about the plague that is abortion?

So far, we know of no treatment for COVID-19. But we can stop the legalized evil that is abortion.

So what will we fight over? Innocent lives and the principles of right, or toilet paper?
