Our forefathers had the wisdom to insure that one group of people does not cram its decisions down our throats, like for example, people in big cities dictating who leads our country.
The Electoral College is there for a reason, and I very much believe in it.
If the Electoral College is done away with, it will then be the beginning of the end of our country.
What worked in 1787 with four million citizens remains valid today!
Simply because the population is bigger now does not invalidate the thinking behind it.
