Under the dubious leadership of Bill Clinton, 27 years ago, 93 U.S. attorneys were fired. Over the years, our criminal justice system has been dumbed down to where in increasingly more states, it’s little more than an exercise in futility. Sentences reduced, criminals turned loose without bail, recently, a large woman attacked a police officer and after free lodging and food for the night in jail was released with no bond or even a slap on the wrist.
Just recently in New York City, a punk with over 100 arrests was free on the street and hit a 92-year-old woman, knocking her into a fire hydrant. He just walked on. Two top cops were gunned down in by repeat violent criminals in New Mexico. Anyone heard about the five cops gunned down by protesters? Nope.
Our criminal justice system is a joke, and now let’s do away with police altogether?
Cops lay their lives on the line daily, not knowing if they’ll go home at the end of the day. They’re human! Community policing? This doesn’t pass the straight face test! And the uninformed ask why citizens are buying more guns?
I’m not excusing alleged brutality, but maybe those in the line of fire are sick and tired of risking their lives for this insanity. Police reform? How about restoring real justice!
