As someone who has lived in Durango twice, I see a significant change in the leadership of our county government. When I first came to Durango, to head sales and marketing for Purgatory Ski Resort, in 1993, I was impressed with the openness of the commissioners and the ease in working to get things moving forward. As I returned to Durango three years ago and am now involved with several enterprises that have needed county approval, I am amazed and disappointed with the lack of leadership from the commissioners. It’s time for a change, and I see Jack Turner as the type of person who can help. Vote Turner to get back to the future.
