I’m a reasonably prolific reader – maybe three or four books a week. I have read with pleasure Montaigne, Epicurus, “The Dancing Wu Lu Masters,” Carl Sagan, etc. And I feel that I have followed the path the authors have taken and have understood what they were saying to me.
So why can I never figure out the point of your editorials?
To me it seems they wander all over and then drift off; and I find myself asking, “Whatever is the point here?”
