It is time for the management of north City Market to step up and implement protective policies for their employees as it relates to COVID-19 ( masks, gloves and social distancing of six feet).
This morning, I only saw two employees with protective masks. I saw staff standing close to one another and talking.
Last week, I met with one of the managers and offered to make masks for her employees. She said she would talk to her employees and share this information. There was no response.
It does not appear that the Kroger corporation is implementing mandatory protective policies for their employees.
Given their close proximity to the public, it is only a matter of time that some of these employees will get COVID-19. When that happens, shoppers will also have been exposed to the potentially lethal coronavirus.
