After reading Daniel Roemer’s glowing review of President Trump, it became a matter of suppressed laughter (“
I suppose if one approves of trillions in tax breaks to corporate America, the rich, and the super-rich (did I leave anyone out?), at the expense of the rest of us, Trump and his invertebrate enablers have certainly delivered on that.
But Mr. Roemer apparently has a fondness for a well-documented business fraud, tax fraud and charity fraud, a multiple philanderer (who pays off porn stars), a consummate liar and sociopathic narcissist. And, he’s a guy who coddles the world’s bloodiest despots – especially our worst enemy, Vladimir Putin – while poking our allies in the eye with insults, and more lies.
Now, really! Is that someone you would invite to dinner? Is that someone you would want as a mentor to your children?
Joe Biden has his flaws, like most of us. But he is highly-experienced, especially in foreign policy, and more. He is also a decent family man with obvious signs of empathy and compassion for others.
But, hey! If Trump’s your guy, don’t be surprised when America slips into autocratic rule if he wins.
