Letters: Introduced wolves will eat all the elk

I’ve noticed consistent biological and habitat oversights in virtually every opinion I’ve seen supporting the proposal to reintroduce gray wolves in Colorado. Elk cannot outrun wolves in the deep snow. Wolves easily run on top of the snow and elk are easy prey. Wolves are not sweet little puppies as they eat and kill live elk. And once the elk herds are decimated and move to other states, what will the wolves feed on? Farmers and ranchers will ultimately pay for wolf reintroduction with lost livestock, not the people who vote to support Proposition 114. Vote No to wolf reintroduction, and help the elk herds, their calves and our farmers and ranchers.
