I served on the Miller Middle School PTO board with Kristin Smith. As a board, we were so fortunate to have her as a committed member. Her consideration and communication are excellent.
She consistently stepped up to make things happen. She was a key player in the Miller Games, Miller’s annual fundraiser. I was so impressed by her innovation and dedication to this task and every task she took on throughout the year.
Kristin Smith is also a parent, which I believe is key. We need a parent on the 9-R school board. We need someone who is actively involved. We need someone who is seeing things from the parental aspect.
I have no doubt Kristin Smith is the right choice for the Durango school board because of both her dedication to the Miller PTO board and her ongoing involvement as a parent.
