As a family doctor who has cared for mothers, fathers and babies in Southwest Colorado for over 30 years, I urge you to vote No on Proposition 115, a ban on late-term abortions. Medical ethics dictates that doctors respect people’s autonomy. No medical procedure is taken lightly and the decision for abortion is especially complex for the families involved. But there is no role for the government to intervene.
