Letters: Letting LPEA tell half-truths is unfair

The

The reporter asked me questions about LPEA and I answered them as openly and honestly as I could. In its response, LPEA did not dispute what I said as being true. The Herald gave LPEA a half a page to twist the facts. I asked to be allowed to print a rebuttal but was turned down. I was told I could write a 250-word letter to the editor.

Allowing LPEA to tell half-truths is not fair to our community. People are starved for the truth these days. The media has earned a reputation of bad reporting. LPEA has the Colorado Country Life magazine to spread its propaganda. I am forced to use social media such as my Facebook page to help people understand what is actually happening at LPEA. That is where you will see my rebuttal.

I believe we have LPEA board members with a personal agenda. Most of the board elections have been bought by special interest groups. The company’s reckless use of money by LPEA troubles me. Employee morale is at an all-time low and employees are leaving. The information coming from LPEA can’t be trusted.

The people deserve to hear all sides of an issue, not biased reporting.
