May I strongly encourage the La Plata County and city of Durango administrative authorities to obtain signed release-from-liability waivers from those individuals who choose to utilize the Purple Cliffs encampment, or any other quasi-governmentally sponsored property?
A sign-in ledger could contain appropriate language. Additionally, “Use At Own Risk” signage should be prominently posted.
It occurs to me that potential liabilities arising could prove to be significant.
