Why does Southwest Land Services owner and president Brian Kimmel decline to say who the two men are that run the Detour Management Group? Why does he refuse to address specific concerns? Why are the representatives of the developer not listed in county records or registered with the state?
Kimmel says the project is “a viable idea.” For whom? Kimmel’s business? His argument that COVID makes the project “in demand” is ludicrous; ever hear of a vaccine? Tried turning left onto 160 from 225A lately? Impatient drivers make bad decisions, making an already dangerous intersection far more so.
This oozes of sleaze. A rotten location, promoted by modern-day carpetbaggers. Beware, all of rural La Plata County, you may be next.
