I am writing in support of Barbara McLachlan, who is running for re-election to the Colorado House of Representatives from District 59 in November.
Barbara is eminently qualified for this position, having served well as our representative for the past four years. She is respected for her willingness to work with her Republican and independent colleagues, and her ability to evaluate legislation on its merits.
She works hard for her constituents and listens diligently to them. She has never been beholden to special interests, and as a retired public school teacher, she has a laser focus on public education.
