The Los Pinos Fire Protection District needs your help on Ballot Issue 7A. To cover a large, mostly rural district and to respond to a 400% increase in calls for service, more funds are urgently needed. Most of the increase in service calls has been for medical emergencies. The district has worked out an impressive plan to re-create a volunteer cadre, cutting response times. New monies are needed for training and equipment for this program and for other aging equipment and for staff.
