One of the benefits of having access to Denver TV stations is that we get to see political ads for Colorado candidates. I am absolutely appalled that Sen. Cory Gardner seems to be running as something he is not – an environmentalist and public lands advocate. With a lifetime score of 11% from the League of Conservation Voters, Gardner is trying to make voters forget his five years of dogged opposition to environmental protection. His voting record and performance in office is completely out of step with what most Coloradans believe and value. I suggest we send him back to Yuma in November.
