We just shopped at a local grocery store and noticed that there are now employees not wearing masks or gloves who previously were. We noticed people working in the produce section and behind the cheese counter not doing so.
One of the baggers we noticed walking around wiping his nose with his hands and just carrying on. No gloves. When we asked the manager of the store why they are not wearing protective gear, he said it was an option. Shame on you, manager!
What if one of these employees is asymptomatic and sneezes or coughs? If for nothing else, it does give people a sense of security, that you are looking out for us, as we are doing for you.
