I have sweet memories of going to Trimble Hot Springs, swimming some laps, soaking in the hot pool with friendly faces all around and the joyous sounds of kids at play filling the air. Then listening to music under the soft summer stars of a Colorado evening.
We have endured so much loss, as individuals and as a community, so much irrevocable loss!
But here is a loss that can be prevented (“Limits on noise, hours weigh on Durango Hot Springs,” June 19). We have courageous folks, Bryan Yearout and Dan Carter, ready to step in and re-create those sweet memories, harmless enjoyment we all once cherished.
