Since when is an emergency still an emergency, after almost a year?
This virus situation is not an emergency now, and looking back, it hasn’t been for a very long time now. The know-nothing “officials,” who for whatever reason we accepted as being in charge, have manipulated test results, imposed unlawful mandates and unconstitutionally prevented our rights to earn a living and move about as we see fit.
If you let politicians break the law during an emergency, they will create an emergency in order to break the law. I believe that is exactly what we are experiencing now. Restrictions and mandates will become an everyday occurrence.
These people are making rules that don’t reflect the actual facts. They are increasing testing that does absolutely nothing to prevent a spread of the virus. Testing, they hope, will justify some of the irrational decisions they make on a daily basis. They haven’t lost a day’s wages while they have bankrupted many families and businesses. They don’t care about us; they care about deceiving us into believing they care.
Let’s stop this illegal nonsense now. The liberal part of our community will obediently do anything these people tell them to do. They don’t question anything. It’s up to the common sense portion of the community to make enough noise to get their attention.
Quit being silent! Let’s get this city and county back open. Anyone who cares about this area needs to contact their elected officials.
