2020 elections are pivotal! Fascism is not just on the doorstep, it is now in the house.
Many may think this statement is overstating reality; it is not. The Republicans allowed a fascist into their midst and he has destroyed their party. Thus it has become exceedingly clear the Republican party needs to be relegated to the pages of history books, the same as the Whigs.
Policies enacted since his election have benefited no one but the very rich and the Wall Street corporatists. He worships at the Church of Mammon and the only thing he holds important is more adulation. Everything he does is done with the with the idea of how does it benefit him, and those who now cement his power.
Failure of the senators within his own party to hold him even the least bit accountable will have them be completely responsible for the failure of the greatest document ever written, the Constitution of the United States of America.
There was one chance to eliminate the threat the Republican fascists represent. Two election cycles and they can eliminated entirely. But the “R” behind any candidate for office must be a mark of shame.
The contemporary Republican Party appears to have become the party of the modern fascists and thus must be eliminated from the body politic.
Our Constitution deserves better stewards. The only solution now is to get rid of the R’s entirely.
