I’m writing to endorse Marsha Porter-Norton for La Plata County commissioner. I first met her through the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango. She and her husband are integral members and Marsha often serves as a worship associate.
She has experience and has prepared for the job with 50 listening sessions throughout the county. She is fourth-generation local and has the depth and breadth of regional knowledge. Marsha has dedicated months of learning, listening and reaching out to be the best representative for our county.
The other candidates don’t come close to the devotion, commitment and time she has invested to become your county commissioner.
