Letters: This indoctrination in Durango schools

One of the interesting points about the climate change rally held by Miller School attendees was that there was such a strong belief in climate change, a nationally debatable topic. Who is teaching one side of the debate in our schools? It is not settled science, as even NOAA admits. Most of the predictions about global warming have simply not come to pass. So there is room for discussion, but that’s apparently not what is happening at Miller, where students were taught so forcefully about the climate change that they felt compelled to hold a rally and disrespect people they perceived to be on the other side. It’s called indoctrination. Why is it happening in Durango schools?
