Letters: This is my healthy pandemic attitude

People need to have a healthier attitude. I have recently been in Sam’s Club in Farmington. Yes, we wore masks (we hate that, but it’s necessary) and kept to the distancing guidelines. But there was some person in Sam’s who just butted in line ahead of us, so I just went up to him standing but six feet away, standing there, making it quite apparent that I was going nowhere until he got to the back of the line like he was supposed to.

He complained bitterly very loudly but he went. Freaking guy! At least he was wearing a mask.

I felt like telling him off, but I decided against doing that observing there was no need with him having gone to the back of the line like he should have in the first place.

But my wife observed a family all wearing no masks which was stopped and initially prohibited from entering Sam’s. They came around again when there were different people, who allowed them into Sam’s anyway. Having no filter now having suffered a major stroke, I would have just told them off. As I didn’t see them, my distancing was maintained.

My point is that people in general need to adopt a healthier attitude.
