I find that I am often overwhelmed, as many people are, with large-scale and complex issues like social justice, homelessness and climate change. However, one way I know I can make a difference is to vote in local elections.
This year, I’m excited to be able to vote for Marsha Porter-Norton for county commissioner, someone I know and trust.
Marsha cares deeply about the people in La Plata County and our values. She respects that we are all different and contribute uniquely to our community. My vote for Marsha will make a difference for this community, and I’m proud of that.
