Letters: We are calling the president ‘it’ now

Mr. Goodrich only touched on a few recent strokes of genius from our president in his letter (“

If only our supreme leader was around years ago, “it” would have predicted the recession and saved all of us hard-working Americans so much pain.

As to what that evil China has done to us, I am so glad that the trade deal is so amazing that our factories are beyond capacity with jobs and goods. You all know the deal I am talking about, that did not need any action by Congress?

Most importantly now, is how “it” has handled this fake, coronavirus thing: The consistent and early leadership, with compassion, has made us all of proud.

I guess those markets just don’t get it. And that pesky reporter at the recent press conference asking a horrible question about what “it” would say to people concerned about the China virus thing? I mean, what a bad reporter to be so arrogant as to provide an opportunity for a show of empathy. Supreme leaders don’t need that stuff.

Same for that darn cruise ship in California. Those people just wanted to make “its” numbers look bad for the election. We should have sent that ship to Mexico.

So, due to our supreme leader’s intelligence and foresight, as so well described by Mr. Goodrich, America is No. 1 again: We have the largest number of COVID-19 virus cases in the world, and likely associated deaths.

Why did all these Trump supporters on both sides not see this coming?
