Excerpt from the 2050 best seller “Winners Get To Write History” Chapter 18 (Trump Publishing):
“When the governmental structure for the new country that would call itself the United States of America was proposed, that country’s founders based that government on the idea of a separation of powers into coequal branches: Legislative, Executive and Judicial. They wrote that in a document they called the Constitution.
“That worked for nearly 250 years, until the legislative branch was no longer necessary, its irrelevance exposed by the very people who were in charge of one of its chambers, its Senate.
“By abnegating the responsibilities with which its members were charged, and abdicating its oversight power of the executive branch to that very same executive branch, it was proven that three branches were extraneous; and that the executive branch, through the manipulation of the judicial branch, was really the only branch that the country needed.
“The founders had a vision, but their vision has been proven flawed, their structures cumbersome, their documents dated. Theirs was a reactive, tunneled vision; they are not to be blamed for this.
“Experience creates reaction, and their experience was one of being governed by a flawed king. They were only human, themselves flawed, mistake-prone. They could not possibly have foreseen a time when a king-like, nearly perfect human being would emerge to lead that country, rising above laws that applied to lesser types, forming all things to his flawless image.”
Chapter 19: The Constitution: irrelevant; eliminated.
