Letters: Why would you mail back your ballot?

Since Colorado employed mail-in voting several years ago, I have never trusted the U.S. Postal Service with my completed ballot. I always deposit it myself at the county clerk’s office. I learned long ago to never send cash in the mail. Would you send a $100 bill in the mail to pay a debt? Then, why would you mail in your ballot?
