Without the benefit of the Electoral College, the decision on our next president will be handed over to the residents of the most populous cities. Colorado’s residents would have no hope of their chosen candidate being elected unless they uniformly agreed with the residents of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.
The Electoral College creates a leveling of the impact of population on state’s rights.
This is too important to dismiss.
