Beginning Feb. 1, Pine River Library will have an opening on its board of trustees. The position is for a full three-year term of office, ending Jan. 31, 2025.

Candidates should be familiar with the bylaws, code of ethics, policies and strategic plan of the library. Trustees are appointed on a voluntary basis. There is no compensation offered.

The library is accepting applications until Dec. 24.
