It is of great benefit to the residents of Durango that our public library offers a space where instead of brands, ideas abound; where the entertainment of reading grows one’s intellect and imagination; where you can walk in penniless and walk out with 30 books.
That alone would be enough, but for the month of September, the Durango Public Library is partnering with 59 local businesses, each of which is offering a discount on goods and services to customers with a library card.
You can pick up a library card, free, anytime. It’s the best deal around. Check the library’s website (atdurangopubliclibrary.org under “events”) for more information.
