The Southwest La Plata Library District will host a new ongoing speaker series called “Compass Points: Navigating Community Resources.”
The October programs will focus on the challenges of navigating the path to homeownership and will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at Sunnyside Library (75 County Road 218) and from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at Fort Lewis Mesa Library (11274 Highway 140, Hesperus).
Pam Moore of Homesfund will discuss programs and services, including down payment assistance, that help make homeownership achievable.
