Pine River Library will hold a three-part American West Reading & Conversation Series to celebrate the 2016 centennial of the Pulitzer Prizes from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 5, 12, and 19 at 395 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield.
Participants will receive a free reader featuring Pulitzer-recognized western authors such as Wallace Stegner, Annie Proulx, and Gary Snyder. Conversations will be facilitated by scholar Duane Smith and poet William Pitt Root.
