Classic book Smoky the Cowhorse to be featured
Smoky the Cowhorse is the classic novel by Will James of an abused horse and his recovery.
Saturday night's fundraiser for the Friends of the Ignacio Community Library includes artwork by Will James from his book, Smoky the Cowhorse.
The Friends of the Ignacio Community Library are sponsoring a Smoky the Cowhorse fund raiser at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. Free events include stick horse racing, roping competitions and line dancing.
Tickets for Harry Baxstrom's award-winning chuck wagon barbecue dinner are $10 per person and can be purchased at the library.
