Durango Public Library’s Advisory Board is receiving nominations through May 31 for its annual Library Community Champion Award. The award recognizes that dedicated citizen volunteers enhance and sustain the success of any public library. The award recipient will be announced in September and honored with a reception sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Previous winners include: Beverly Darmour, Lynne Hardy, Steve Redding, Nancy Peake, Maile Kane, Corrie McCarthy, Marcia Clouser and the Reading Club of Durango.
