Friends of the Library will host a sidewalk book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday on the north patio of Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

Books may be purchased for $1 a pound. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

All proceeds benefit Durango Public Library.
