The Pine River Library will host a community-wide program, The Friday the 13th Before Christmas Party, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.
Escape from Halloween Town, craft in Valentine’s Ville, enjoy a sneak peak of Santa’s workshop in Christmas Town and wrap it all up with a feast in Thanksgiving Town. Come dressed as either a favorite holiday or a “The Nightmare Before Christmas” character. There will be prizes for best costumes and a showing of the original Tim Burton movie during the feast.
All ages are welcome at the event. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and all minors are required to bring a completed permission slip to participate. Rides must be arranged to arrive promptly at 8 p.m. Permission slips are available at the library or at www.prlibrary.org/the-friday-the-13th-before-christmas.
