An open art studio will take place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays in June, July and August (starting June 19) at Pine River Library.
The session is open to any level artist, but instruction is not provided. The goal of the open art studio is to critique each other’s work, learn from the critiques and paint in an encouraging environment.
The studio will be held in the Community Room of the library. Enter through the doors on the east side of the building. Each participant is responsible for bringing their own supplies. It is recommended that each person bring a plastic table cloth to cover their work area.
The studio is open to watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, drawing and pastels. Susan Brightman and Carol Silldorff, both experienced artists, will host the events.
