About 900 customers affected by outage
About 900 La Plata Electric Association customers near Florida Road and East Animas Road (County Road 250) lost power for about an hour Sunday night, said LPEA Manager of Operations Justin Talbot in a news release.
Homes served by the Spring Creek substation lost power around 8:40 p.m. and were restored about 9:40 p.m. from what was likely a ground fault circuit, Talbot said.
