Film to screen Friday in Ignacio
Bird Red, an eighth grader at the Ignacio Middle School, had the exciting opportunity to be a part of the upcoming Netflix release, The Ridiculous Six.
Performing with major actors such as Adam Sandler and Taylor Lautner, the Ignacio native was chosen to be an extra for the film.
Bird is in his fourth year with the Ignacio Wildcats traveling basketball team. The team will host a screening at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 at the Ignacio High School Performing Arts Center. Bird will share his experience of being "on set."
A concession will be available, and donations are accepted at the door.
