Local artist Heather Leavitt Martinez will teach an Art Career Theorem class from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.
In this one-day workshop, participants will learn the skills needed to help them assess where they are, create a vision, set goals and make decisions that will help them live the art/life they desire.
Martinez uses graphic facilitation to coach artists through a assessments and exercises that increases self-awareness and guides artists. Martinez is a recipient of a grant from the Colorado Creative Industries and National Endowment of the Arts.
