The Daytime Book Club at Ignacio Library will meet to discuss “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at 10 a.m., July 21. The book explores the question of what it means to be black in the U.S. and tells the story of a young Nigerian couple who are separated when one moves to England and the other leaves for the United States.

Twenty-one members of the Durango Photography Club will display their photography at the Durango Public Library during July and August. The show is in the prefunction room, as well as both program rooms on the main floor. The exhibit includes 31 photographs.
