The city of Durango will hold a community visioning workshop about the north Main Avenue corridor.
Property owners and business owners along north Main Avenue will meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Other community members are invited to a meeting at 6:15 p.m. at the same location.
The workshop will compare different approaches to community growth and visually assessing property redevelopment and building improvement options.
Public improvements and business support options and branding will also be discussed.

Downtown Colorado Inc. will hold a meeting about how to market small towns to tourists from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kendall Mountain Community Center, 1 Kendall Place, Silverton.
Participants will share their community’s marketing and branding efforts and discuss how the region can work together.

The city of Durango will offer free wood mulch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and June 11 at the old Van Dal Landfill about three-fourths of mile past the end of Tech Center Drive.
City equipment will be available to load large quantities of mulch.
The mulch will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until it is gone.
