The Durango Police Department will accept unused or expired household medication for safe disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the lobby of the Durango Police Department, 990 East Second Ave.
Drug Take Back Programs, which are a cooperation between a local law enforcement agency and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, are the best way to dispose of old drugs. The proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
