Fido misbehaving? Here’s your workshop

The La Plata County Humane Society is now providing dog behavior workshops for the public on Tuesday evenings.

These interactive dog-human workshops will provide expertise on improving communication, including: good leash manners, dog-to-dog greetings, and tips, tricks and other fun behaviors to do with your best friend.

Taught by Marcy Eckhardt, pranaDOGS certified professional dog trainer, these 90-minute sessions cover one topic each week and include practice time and emailed reminders. The May 10 topic will be “Walking Politely on a Leash.”

Workshops are limited to a set number of animals so reservations are required. For the workshop schedule or to sign up, visit: pranaDOGS.com.
