Chamber director to speak at Rotary
Jack Llewellyn, executive director of the Durango Chamber of Commerce, will speak to the Rotary Club of Durango Tuesday about business in Durango. The club’s dinner meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
A Fort Lewis College graduate, Llewellyn started his career as a radio disk jockey and migrated into sales. His previous posts include sales manager, radio station manager, general sales manager at Clear Channel and corporate fundraiser for FLC athletics.

Breen holds its community potluck
The Breen Community Building Association will hold an Evening of Fun, History and a Potluck Dinner at the Breen Community Building , 15300 La Plata Highway (Colorado Highway 140) in Hesperus.
Longtime residents will share some history about the town of Breen and the building. People who have a story to share are invited to come and to tell it. Participants should bring a potluck dish.
