Free divorce, custody seminar offered

A free seminar about divorce and custody in Colorado will be presented by a volunteer attorney from Southwest Bar Volunteer Legal Aid at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

Durango Film to host beer release party

Durango Film will hold a 2016 Beer Release Party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Ska World Headquarters, 225 Girard St. Participants can play trivia, win prizes, try the new, Durango Film beer and get the inside scoop on the 2016 film festival lineup.

Liberman to perform at Four Leaves

Singer/songwriter Hannah Liberman will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Four Leaves Winery, 528 Main Ave.

Free talk, software orientation Monday

Hour Exchange La Plata invites the public to a free introductory talk and software orientation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.

Participants should bring a laptop or mobile device for the orientation.

Ignacio Library offers several free events

The following free events will take place at the Ignacio Community Library, 470 Goddard Ave.:

Basics of TinkerCAD on Saturday. Learn to use this design program to create objects for the 3-D printer and other manufacturing machines.

3D Printing, Feb. 13. Learn to use ICL’s Makergear M2 3D Printer.

Electronic Hacking, Feb. 20. Learn the basics of circuits and switches and create useful, fun and interesting projects.

Rocket Science, Feb. 27. Build and launch (weather permitting) rockets.

Durango Library to host books&brews

The Durango Public Library will hold books&brews, a nontraditional book club, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Animas Brewing Company, 1560 East Second Ave.

Participants won’t discuss any particular title or theme, just books. No registration or library cards are needed. Attendees should be 21 or older.
