Gentle yoga with Jennifer Kiel, a certified yoga instructor, is available from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.
The class is ideal for seniors, people new to yoga and for relaxation and restoration. Drop-ins and beginners are welcome.
A new all-levels class meets from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Smiley Building, Studio 10.
This class provides a greater challenge than the gentle class.

The Sexual Assault Services Organization will the “Sing Our Rivers Red Earring Exhibit” from Sept. 6 to Sept. 16 at the Commons Building, 701 Camino del Rio, and from Sept. 20 to Sept. 30 at the Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.
The exhibit will raise awareness about the epidemic of missing and murdered indigenous women in the United States and Canada.
A guest speaker will discuss healing from trauma and addiction from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Commons Building, and a drum performance will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the arts center.
Hour Exchange La Plata, a local “time bank,” will give a free introductory talk and software orientation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.
The time bank allows people to save time and money by sharing their skills and knowledge with one another. Time is the medium of exchange.
People considering joining should bring a laptop (preferable) or mobile device.
