Kiwanis Club will hear from business owner
The Kiwanis Club of Durango features James Jones as this week’s luncheon speaker. He will speak at noon Thursday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Jones recently started a business that teaches exercise techniques to people with disabilities.
The Kiwanis Club of Durango meets at noon each Thursday at the rec center. Guests are welcome.
Beyond globalization focus of talk
Gunter Pauli, innovator, consultant and author of 20 books will speak at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Eolus Room of the Durango Community Recreation Center. Pauli will discuss how new business models are stimulating local economic development beyond globalization.
